Just a hello and a couple of tips.
1. Break the bike in carefully, a longer break in than
the book lists may be necessary.
2. Don't buy all the fancy doodads at once. You may decide
this isn't your cup of tea. Custom metrics are hard to
get rid of.
3. Watch the conditions you ride in.
4. Even if you have thousands of miles behind you on
another bike, it's OK to suffer from "kid in a candy
store" syndrome. This is supposed to be fun. When it
isn't, take a break for a couple days and come back to
it fresh.
5. Above all, play it safe. I like chatting with other
people who own these bikes. :)
Keep the rubber side down, the shiny side up, and the
faith. Catch you on the road. I'll be the outlaw looking
sleaze bag on the orange 98 model with apes and drag
pipe. :) :(>
